Mark Scarlatelli
President

Mr. Scarlatelli has over two decades of experience in planning,  directing, and managing major design/build, multi-use construction and  renovation projects including demolition, site preparation,  underground infrastructure, modernization and site beautification. He has specialized in public works, private commercial and residential projects, the preservation and restoration of buildings on the National Historical Registry as well as LEED certified buildings. From fixing smoke detectors to building multi-million, state-of-the-art fire stations he has been responsible for over $100 million in construction.

Gamut Companies was ranked a Top specialty Contractor out of 10,000 licensed contractors in the State, by California Construction Magazine, and also received several prestigious Fannie Mae Gold Hammer Awards which reflects Mr. Scarlatelli's "going above and beyond" performance standards.

Eco-friendly practices are also important to Mr. Scarlatelli who remains sensitive to the environment and for whom 'Going Green' is much more than an empty slogan. His companies have adopted green practices in both the construction and renovation fields. He supports numerous philanthropic causes including the REOMAC Scholarship Program and is currently establishing a charitable foundation to help families that have been displaced by foreclosure or other extenuating circumstances. Mr. Scarlatelli attended The University of Southern California and is a member of the Association of General Contractors. He has also served on the national Board of REOMAC and has been recognized by 'Who's Who in America'  for leadership and achievement in the industry.





Mark D. Comings
Partner 

Mr. Comings is a true entrepreneur responsible for the creation and successful operation of several companies in Southern California. In 1983, he launched Up Up and Display, a marketing/advertising company which provided large, inflatable balloons for advertising purposes that were secured to roof tops and business locations for maximum impact. He was responsible for all aspects of the business including sales, marketing, financing and manufacturing. He was a also Partner in another successful operation known as Digital Waves, Inc., from 1994-1997.

From 2000 - 2008 he was a Founding Partner in Wide Open Adventures, LLC, which specialized in off-road adventure driving tours in Baja, Mexico. He developed the original business plan and secured funding to start the business.  He was also responsible for securing additional financing, vendor relations and new business development.

Mr. Comings formed a real estate/land development partnership in 2003 where he negotiated and executed real estate and land development opportunities. He managed the legal and financial aspects of all transactions which included raw land devleopment on the Sea of Cortez, Baja, Mexico, waterfront acerage on the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland, and redevelopment of mixed use land in Riverside County, CA.

As a Partner in Gamut Property Services Mr. Comings is responsible for the company's strategic planning.

He attended the University of San Francisco where he studied economics and organizational management. He resides in Murietta, CA.

John M. Mann 
Partner

Mr. Mann has had a distinguished 26-year career and brings a wealth of communications and management experience from the real estate, finance and credit industries. He was a national top producer for Transamerica Title insurance from 1983-1985. He also served as Executive Vice President and member of the Board of Directors of Stewart Title in Glendale from 1985 to 1994 where he increased sales from $6 million to a peak of $43 million a year.

He was a co-founder of Data Track Systems in Carlsbad, CA from 1994 to 1998 and later served as Senior Vice President for the company’s Wall Street investors overseeing relationships with Well Fargo, B of A, Fannie Mae, GMAC, Fleet, and Chase.

In 2001, Mr. Mann was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Wide Open Adventures in Irvine, CA, which provides guests and corporate clients with unique off-road adventures in Baja, CA.

In 2006, Mr. Mann joined Shift4 Corporation in Las Vegas, NV as Vice President, North American Sales, where he was responsible for the development of the sales team and preferred business partners.

Today, Mr. Mann serves as Executive Sales Manager for Gamut overseeing all sales for North America and the strategic direction of sales for the Gamut Companies based in Montclair, CA. In addition, he manages the company's financial partnerships as well as the day to day operations of the Las Vegas and Phoenix operations.

He has served on numerous boards including the CCA from 1989-1993 and the TEC from 1990-1993, and has also received the prestigious Inman Innovator Award. He earned a BA degree in Business Administration from Purdue University and now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.
